Does Emberville list Save Anytime on Steam before EA?#
Yes, as a store category. Accessed 2026-11-06. Full-game App 2295170 lists Save Anytime. Demo App 5355880 lists Save Anytime too. On both payloads the description appears once, category id 79.
A label is not an Observed save. This page has no mid-dungeon save, no crash-recovery test, and no count of save slots. It also does not move a Demo save into Early Access. That migration stays Unknown on a different page.
Evidence grades#
| Grade | Use on this page |
|---|---|
| Confirmed | The Save Anytime description on the 2026-11-06 appdetails category list for App 2295170 or Demo 5355880 |
| Observed | A save made during play, a reload after a crash, or a slot screen on a named build. None are recorded here |
| Unknown | How often the game writes a save, whether a crash keeps it, and whether a Demo save loads on January 7 |
Where the label is, and where it is not#
| Item | Full game 2295170 | Demo 5355880 | Grade |
|---|---|---|---|
| Save Anytime (id 79) | Listed | Listed | Confirmed category text |
| Steam Cloud | Listed | Listed | A different label. Not a save-slot test |
| Family Sharing | Listed | Not listed | Full-game label only. Not a save test |
| Public sidebar strip | Single-player, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing | Use appdetails for the Demo | The full-game strip does not print Save Anytime |
The public sidebar strip on App 2295170 shows three features: Single-player, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing. Save Anytime is not in that strip. The strip is a short row. It is not the full category list. Leaving Save Anytime off the strip does not remove category id 79 from appdetails, and it does not prove the label is wrong. Prefer the appdetails list when the strip and the API disagree.
Demo appdetails does not list Family Sharing, Partial Controller Support, DualShock Controller Support, or DualSense Controller Support. It does list Save Anytime. This page does not copy the full-game sidebar strip onto the Demo. Category differences use appdetails.
The full game also lists Single-player, comfort labels, DualShock Controller Support, DualSense Controller Support, Partial Controller Support, Stereo Sound, and Surround Sound. Those are other labels. They are not save proof. Controller labels are on Does Emberville list DualSense or DualShock support before EA?. What Save Anytime does not prove#
The words Save Anytime do not say where a save can happen. They do not say a player can save in the middle of a fight, in a dungeon, or only at a bed or a menu. They do not say a crash keeps the last minute. They do not name a slot count. They do not say Steam Cloud uploaded that file.
Steam Cloud is its own category on both apps. Cloud is a store label for cloud storage, not a receipt that a Demo file will appear on another PC, and not a receipt that it will appear in the Early Access install. Family Sharing on the full game is a library-sharing label. It is not a save format. Those two labels are on Does Emberville support Family Sharing and Steam Cloud?.
Offline play and a Steam Deck badge are also separate. The 2026-11-06 payload still has no steam_deck_compatibility object. See Offline play & Steam Deck Verified expectations before EA.
This is not the Demo-to-EA migration page#
Does Emberville Demo progress carry into Early Access? is still Unknown on 2026-11-06. The short description on App 2295170 still has no Demo-save sentence. October 19 news said Next Fest progress carries over. The delay post does not restate or cancel that sentence. Save Anytime on both apps does not close that gap. A category both apps share is not a migration path.
No newer studio Community Announcement is on the feed after gid 1847286114046455 (October 26 delay). Demo Patch Notes still stop at the October posts. Nothing in that feed turns Save Anytime into an Observed save or into a carry-over promise.
The learning chrome on the store page is also not a save system. See Does Emberville have Steam Achievements before Early Access?. The Early Access heading is not a save rule. See What does Coming Soon To Early Access mean for Emberville?. The dated store row is on What changed on Emberville's Steam page before EA?.
